Exploring the Hidden Gems of Louth: A Photographic Adventure at Clogherhead Cliff Walk

My first visit to Clogherhead Beach was a spur of the moment decision. I was immediately struck by the beauty of the area, and I knew that I had to come back and explore it further. The small fishing village of Clogherhead is a quaint and charming place, and the 5km walk between Port Oriel and Clogherhead beach is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Both sides of the walkway have nice coffee places, and there’s even a popular fish and chip shop beside Port Oriel (that I haven’t tried yet, but it smells delicious!)

My most recent visit to Clogherhead Cliff Walk was for a pre-wedding photoshoot with Andrea and Aaron. We decided to do the shoot an hour before dark, and the results were truly stunning. The dramatic lighting and the beautiful views made for some truly magical images. Andrea and Aaron are getting married at The Millhouse in Slane, and I can’t wait to share more images from their special day in the coming weeks.

In conclusion, If you’re looking for a hidden gem in Louth to explore and take some beautiful photos, Clogherhead Cliff Walk is definitely worth a visit. It’s a great spot for a romantic stroll, a picnic, or just to enjoy the view with a cup of coffee. And if you’re getting married at The Millhouse in Slane or any other venues nearby, it’s a perfect spot for prewedding photos too.
