You’ve got questions? I’ve got answers. Here are the most frequently asked questions I get. Take afew minutes to read through them, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any more!

Do you travel to photograph weddings?
Yes! I love to travel and have shot weddings all over Ireland. My travel fees are included in all of my packages
I'm from Mornington beach in Meath.
How long have you been a wedding photographer
16 years! 16 good years!

how many images do you include?
Depend on which packages you choose, but I promise I’ll always include plenty of images of everything I capture, I promise to capture them fully and give you more than enough images to remember this time in your lives.
What is your turnaround time?
The turnaround depends on how much I shoot, how busy I am, and the holidays. Mostly, for Adventure shoots it takes 4 weeks or less and weddings take 8 weeks or less.

What if the weather is bad?
The one thing you can’t worry about is the weather, whatever will be will be! Don’t worry though, if the weather is bad I’ll always have backup locations in mind.
Is it you who will photograph our wedding?
Yes, I can’t wait to spend the day with you! I also offer the option of having a second photographer too for bigger weddings. Let me know if this is something you would like to discuss.

What happens if you are unwell/unable to make it on the day? Is there another photographer you know of with a similar style who would be able to step in?
Yes, I have a network of photographers I can call upon. I could never 100% guarantee their availability, or how close their style would be to mine, but every effort would be taken to ensure you have someone with a similar style available to step in.
What if we need to cancel / reschedule our shoot?
If you’ve already put a deposit down on a date then have to move/cancel it, the deposit is legally non-refundable and a new deposit will have to be made in order to hold your new date.

Do you do Album?
Oh yes, I love to design an album, have a look at the pricing and photos www.johnnycorcoran.ie/fine-art-books
Do you photoshop?
My photography is always about celebrating love and authenticity. We share photos of all my clients no matter how they look because we want YOU to know that YOU are beautiful because we are all unique and different and important.
You will not be photoshopped taller or thin, your scar on your forehead is part of your identity, so we will not photoshop it. We won’t photoshop to alter what is real and true for you.
Photoshop is often used to remove temporary blemishes, such as bruises or spots. I'll always ask you which side is your "favourite side” when we pose you.

Can we meet up before the wedding?
Of course! I love meeting up with people to talk through your plans and get timings and logistics all sorted for the day. If distance is a problem we can always chat over email and feel free to make friends with me on Facebook too!
Do you give 'raw' unedited images?
Sorry No, It’s so important to me that you only receive beautifully-toned, print-ready photographs! For this reason, I never release my RAW files. Every photograph you receive is a finished product, ready for display!

Can I send you recommendations on what photos to take?
No! Please, No. You are choosing to hire me for my style I seek to capture your day as it is happening. I do not create any specific moments and any photo list would distract from the genuine moments of the day and kill my photographer instinct.
Do you help in the planing process?
Absolutely! I always design a timetables for my couples to know whats happening that day. Let me know what you need help with, if you need recommendations, and if there’s anything I can do to make the process easier for you!

Do you have back up equipment in case of any technical issues etc?
Yes, I shoot with two full frame camera bodies, so if one fails, I have back-up. The camera shoots with dual memory cards, so the images are always backed-up.
Are you insured?
Of course! I have all the necessary insurances and also have backups for all my equipment. I’m very prepared!

Can you take more than 15 group photos?
No, Family portraits are such an important part of your wedding day! I require approximately 3 minutes per portrait grouping to pose. At this rate, your list of 15 groups will take at least 45 minutes. Perhaps we could discuss options for reducing this list so that it will better fit into your timeline!
heres one good sample “If the group photos are special to the couple, their smiles are genuine. But when the group portraits are an obligation, the couple gets restless and their smiles become forced. If the list is too long, couples will say, ‘Forget it! We just want to dance!’ A couple should be doing what they enjoy most at their wedding – and for most people that isn’t posing for formal portraits! A few group photos are great, but I always encourage clients to limit them to a few key groups.”
