Elopements used to mean running off and getting married in secret before returning home and disappointing all your friends and family… Elopements today are completely different! Imagine wild moors, dense woodlands, sweeping vistas. Breezy mountaintops, muddy boots, wild flowers. Your absolute fave people, an officiant, AND YOU TWO.
Forget table plans, Pinterest boards and plus ones. It’s all about having a relaxed day – and a relaxed planning process – and having only the most important people there.
You don’t have to do it completely alone – having 10 or 20 of your fave people attend is still a lot easier and more enjoyable than herding 100 people around. So if the thought of making small talk with cousins and plus ones and doing a first dance in front of 100 people brings you out in a cold sweat and has you running for the hills – then why not actually just run for the hills? As an elopement photographer in Ireland I know all the best spots for photos, and if you’re at the very beginning of your planning process I can also help you find the best suppliers and suggest locations you can hold your ceremony. I’m a nature lover, so if you are too then I’m sure we’ll be on the same page!

Plus, weddings are just one day, so it’s important to make sure you’re happy with the decisions you’re making. If you want a smaller, more intimate ceremony or elope, that’s fine too.
