What a wonderful nineteenth-century little church in Gougane Barra in West Cork. The history alone is worth the visit.
I had a pleasant day to join Deirdre + James last April in a fab Church in Gougane Barra, Co. Cork. The view in Gougane Barra is breathtaking surround with mountains and lake. The weather that day was wonderful. Thanks so so much Deirdre + James for having me on your big day, and wishing you many years of happiness together!
There grows the wild ash, and a time stricken willow
Looks chidingly down on the mirth of the billow;
As, like some gay child, that sad monitor scorning,
It lightly laughs back to the laugh of the morning.
