Carolyn Goodwin

Carolyn is an Irish based saxophonist and clarinettist with a passion for contemporary music and improvisation. Along with being a saxophonist and clarinettist, she is also a vocalist and occasional actress, and indeed some of her most recent theatre projects have seen her utilize all of these skills. She loves the fact that her career has allowed her to travel and meet new people along the way, and also that these various performance contexts always contain an element of the unknown, which appeals to her sense of adventure.

Here are some great photos of Carolyn taken in Dun Laoghaire last Sunday, 17th August. Took a few months to finally get a date that suited us both but I think the shots were worth the wait….hope you agree, Carolyn ! (16th August 2014)

WHAT'S THIS ELEPHANT AND ONE SHOE ARE ABOUT?

“Elephant Shoe” is a phrase I have always loved because when you lip read someone saying this you see “I love you” while it is unlikely that you would use the phrase “elephant shoe” in a real conversation it does highlight that sometimes things do get lost in translation.

Elephant Shoe is a cute fun way of saying “I love you” try it out today without using your voice!

Here's another one why the most couple did pre-weddings with me and afterwards they found really helpful and relax on their wedding day. Have a look at my fun video here
